The mission of the Foundation Laurie-Ann Duchaine's mandate is to help first those with opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome in financial, moral support and give them information about the disease.

It also has a mission to promote the disease, which wants to be very rare. Since the foundation is a first in Canada, it will be used to assemble a database of people with, to know their history and to raise awareness that childhood illness still unknown.
